The Stone Hearth name comes from the fireplace in the back of the dining room. It was built the same year as the restaurant in 1946. The log addition was built in the winter of 1996-97. That winter, the area was bombarded with 120 inches of snow.

The new Stone Hearth was built in 2006. The cedar strip canoe across from the hostess station was handcrafted the same year the original restaurant was built and weighs a mere 32 pounds. A few items the Stone Hearth are known for are the charcoal grilled steaks, world renowned BBQ ribs and fresh seafood. Our house dressing is Roasted Red Pepper Vinegarette.
